My name is Olga Kraft, and I am the owner and founder of Kraft & Crust.

When my family and I moved from Germany to the United States in 2023 — my husband Alexander, our two wonderful children Maria and Elia, and I — there was one thing we all truly missed: fresh, honest bread. Bread has always been part of our everyday life. The kind of bread with a crisp crust, real flavor, and simple ingredients. The kind of bread you bring to the table and everyone reaches for.

That is where my bread journey began.

I started growing my own sourdough starter, learning everything I could, taking different classes and courses, and baking loaf after loaf. With every bake, I learned a little more. And anyone who has ever opened a Dutch oven to see a beautifully risen loaf, a golden crust, and an open crumb knows the feeling — the smell of freshly baked bread is something truly special.

What started out of necessity slowly became a passion. And now, that passion is becoming a business.

The name Kraft & Crust has a very personal meaning to me. Kraft is not only my last name, but it also reminds me of the word craft — the hands-on work, patience, and care that go into every loaf. Crust stands for one of the best parts of real bread: a beautiful, crisp crust that tells you the bread was baked with time and care.

After friends and neighbors encouraged me again and again to share my bread with the community, I decided to take this next step and open Kraft & Crust. This is a completely new chapter for me, and I am very grateful and excited to share it with you.

I will continue to stay creative, flexible, and open to new ideas. I plan to try new bread varieties, listen to your wishes, and grow with the needs of this community. Your feedback means a lot to me, and I look forward to meeting you, hearing your thoughts, and sharing good bread with you.
